Clip Helper is a Windows clipboard manager that records text, formatted text, color, image and Explorer copy/cut files operation so you can access them later.
Some features:
Autoclips: create a 4 shortkey text for a clip and when you type the shortkey (e.g. in notepad or Word) it'll be replaced by the clip automatically. illustrating: if you type e.g. "qqem" in Word Clip Helper can replace this shortkey for a set clip e.g. that contains your email.
Fly Menu: set a hotkey to show a context menu alike that will display the last 15 (default number) saved clips of the current collection next to the mouse cursor.
Macro clip: It's a text clip with a tag string (that will be replaced with the real text) and/or a keystroke shortkey. To paste the text clip as a macro just press the Macro Clip hotkey that you can configure in "Options>Hotkeys". You can use the following tags for now:
%date% = current date
%time% = current time
%#% = it's an internal counter; everytime a clip is selected in the main list the counter is reseted to zero; everytime you execute the same macro the counter will increase
{ENTER} = this tag should be in a line without any other text or tag and it will emulate the ENTER key press
{TAB} = this tag should be in a line without any other text or tag and it will emulate the TAB key press
Paste Express: You can double click a text item in the list to automatically paste it into the application (e.g. Word or a web form) you were working before
Hotclips: You can set up to 10 hotkeys and a clip to be paste automatically into the application you are working
Color picker: Clip Helper can keep track of color clips including: a zoom tool to pick a color from the desktop; a dialog window to pick a color; a "Paste as" feature so you can paste the color considering the color code you need
Capture area: you can easily take a screenshot of just part of the desktop
Filter Box: clips with the set key word are automatically copied to the Filter Box
Safe Box: clips are encrypted so a password is required in order to view them
Split: you can set one or several delimiters and split a text or color clip in two ways: by using a hotkey (the clip will be split and each part will be pasted everytime the "Paste Split" hotkey is pressed; or by right clicking a clip in main list (the parts will be saved as new text clips)
Merge: join more than one text clip in one
Clean: clean unwanted chars from a text clip using custom profiles ("Clean and paste" hotkey is available for automatic cleaning)
View: you can view your clips by type (e.g. just text) or date (e.g. yesterday clips)
Management: you can create clips collections, copy, move or delete clips, purge a collection, rename or create a new clip, edit a text clip and more
Serial Paste: you can keep pasting from the selected clip to the top or bottom
Search: you can search as you type (clip names) or make a search within clip contents
Hotkeys: they can improve your Clip Helper experience e.g. scroll clips up or down or even collections
