site looks great. i do have one comment/complaint: as seems to be rampant these days, so many websites have decided to use a landing/enter page up front. aesthetically, yours is fine. but like every other site i get to that has a landing page, i just ask, 'why?'. i think it actually detracts from the site's value. it doesn't add content. it only adds another click.
btw, this is not directly specifically at you. it's kind of a general rant. although, i guess, you're the trigger. really, though, nice design.
well at this moment it just is our logo, but in the future urgent messages or updates will be stated on that very first page, so you don't have to look all over the website to find something new.. i hope that justifies it a bit for you, but thanks a lot for the comments! 
Agreed with shmengie. Nice site, though! I take it you're not aiming at people dial-up connections (based on all the images)?

Since we are providing mainly online film and video, nope, dial-up is not an option I'm afraid. Or yeah it is, if you have the patience..

I think that it could be useful. For example, on mine, I use a splash screen as a sort of "portal" to my site, my dA, and another portfolio.
However, I do prefer that, when I visit a site, I just get the site.
