I'm runign Ubuntu Edgy eft and I'd like to make nautilius runa DIFFERENT GTK 2.0 theme from the the rest of my apps...IS this possible? How?
GTK(2.0)--Different themes for different apps?
I don't think it's possible. gtk2 is a toolkit that all gtk2 applications use and the theme that is defined is universal to all the applications that use it. You might want to ask over at Ubuntu's own forum.
Yes you can, for example I have a theme folder in my home and I want to use Murrina-Eternal_Blue theme for gconf-editor:
GTK2_RC_FILES=$HOME/.themes/Murrina-Eternal_Blue/gtk-2.0/gtkrc gconf-editor
Karma police: Where do I add such a line?
What file?
The next issue is making in have a diffent Beryl theme...(I'm trying to make nautilius look like finder)
You can do it in the command line to test it or change your shortcut.
Thanks karma.police, you rock!
OK that's news to me.
I have to ask, how do UN do this?
UN ?? what??
Remove this...Make it follow the default theme
Im a she.
