Sorry man Iam running MM Jukebox 8.0 plus and it wont install the skin ....says it contains more than ini and bitmap extensions so it wont be installed need that skin help please

At last second I changed the .ini and added back to the zip. . .stupid winzip was suppose to delete the old one. . .

OK!

I fixed the file. . .Winzip is weird.

At the last second I changed the fonts back to Arial for users that don't have Souless' LucidaMAC fonts installed (fonts I use in the player).

I was gonna include the fonts, but being as I don't "own" them, didn't create them and didn't get permission to distribute them. . .I took it out of the file.

And when I went to add the .ini file back in. . .technically it was added. . .but the archieve, which later becomes a .mmz became corrupted.

FILE IS FIXED, IT WORKS. . .I've tested it. . .you guys are good to go.

It's pretty much as good as it can get with MusicMatch.

If anybody out there knows how to code MM let me know. . .I got some GREAT ideas. And. . .I think it would be pretty easy if I can get into some files.

no, it works

double click the .mmz file. . .

then

View/Skins/iTunes 4.1a

whatever folder you have in the Skins directory, MusicMatch reconizes as a "skin" which is kinda funny, in a sick, geeky kinda way.

I'm assuming you have your directory

"iTunes 4.1a skin for MusicMatch" in your skin directory, and when you select the THAT in from your skins list. . .that's what you're getting.

Remove THAT folder from that directory, it doesn't need to be there.

Just make sure the folder "iTunes 4.1a" is in there. Like the older skins that come with MM.

Let me know if that works.

I can't get it to look and act exactly like iTunes, but I can sure try.

If anybody is familar with MM and sees some other avenues we can take. . .let me know.

I have a player that is 95% as close to iTunes as you can get, but you lose some stuff. . .mainly the Album Art window. You can still display the album art, but its in a different window.

I just wish I can get those frickin buttons on the Playlist to work. If you look in the directory. . .they're made and ready to, but I just can't get the buttons to work "right"

Great skin, but I have one problem. First when I installed the skin everything worked fine, but after I restarted my computer musicmatch won't open, it just closes. I had to take the skin out of the directory to enable musicmatch again. It might be because I have musicmatch 7.2 and not the 8.1 or whatever new version, but I can't afford to upgrade. Is this the problem? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks for the update! I had to get a new hard drive so now I have to install MusicMatch all over again. I'll check out the skin when I get around to installing the rest of my apps.

Go the "iTunes 4.1a" directory, and open up the mmtheme.ini file with notepad, and at the heading "for MMJB 7.5 and higher?" type:

for MMJB 7.0 and higher?

See if that works.
