Outgoing Miranda Fonts

Whenever I use Miranda to type a message to a contact using MSN/Windows Live Messenger, the message appears black to me, but it's whitish-gray to them. How can I get it so it's black for the both of us?

I've checked Options->Network->MSN->Send message font color/size info in messages
