i just finished making my first (actually third, but this is the best one) website for school, but now i really need a cool logo to match, but i'm out of ideas. maybe someone here can help.

its actually not too bad.
the overall look you are going for is excellent...
You need to keep some things a little more consistant.
first off it has too many colours.... pick say 4 colours (max of 5) that work together and keep using those exact colours... the green/pink in the top left panel of the welcome screen especially looks outta place against the other three panels (which might I add, look great!).
Same with the fonts too, the sizes, style and formatting could be a little more consistant.
and you spelt "Media" (meda) wrong 
Also its a little rough around the edges of images and text boxes but otherwise its looks like its going good.
The site looks good but, if at all possible, please link and credit your favorite wallpapers if you're going to have a lightbox with reasonable resolution of them. Don't want other people assuming you made them, so explicit language helps.

i never thought of the danger of not crediting the makers. there is just one problem, i don't really know know whre some of them are from. i just sorta came accross them.

How exactly do i download the wallpaper(s)?
- the corners of the buttons dont match the background color...
- the site is very generic. reflections are overrated, and aren't even carried through in the design.
- using flash for a simple nav without any effects is overdoing it. also, you shouldn't use images for text as it is both unaccessible/unusable and ugly.
- some places have rounded images yet some have square and still some have blue borders... keep your website consistent.
- using a stark blue with black doesn't look too good. the color combination seems very 90s and windowsy.
- i won't even comment on the horrendous coding done.
- the text that is on the site is unstyled and looks very out of place...
- the footer doesn't make sense and the colors don't match the background of the page... it's just a waste of space and doesn't even look good to be a sufficient enough reason to waste bandwidth.
and just a tip: don't put lackluster achievements on your resume... and don't overexaggerate. a high school student isn't going to have "unparalleled leadership" if you know what i mean

^ I dont agree with everything he says but I guess he does have some points... but hey I guess im not a 'pro' graphics designer to be correcting him... yet.

hey just a tip Rammass, as this is the one thing REALLY bugging me about your site, the rounded corners, they are jagged in places and not only that but the grey bit that sorrounds them isnt the same colour as the background... it looks really cheap.
thanx for fixing up the colours though, much better... as for the blue and grey thing and being windowsy, I disagree with pwnzrzpat, it doesnt matter what colours you use, or the combination in which you use them, only how you use them (ie- with textures, reflections etc...). And the way you have used them does Not look like windows 95. period.
