Mac os x desktop icons

im looking at some of peoples desktops, and i see that they have their desktop icons with the name to the right side and with a description!!! how do i get that?!!?!

example:: an icon that represents their Hard Drive. To the left of that is a title that says Macintosh HD,

and then a description underneath that which shows the amount of space that is left and how much is available....

i want that soooo bad =-[ help me out please!

What he's saying is that you are violating an important rule across almost every forum on the internet: that you shouldn't create more than one thread discussing the same issue.

And to do that, you can just drag your Windows icons to your right hand side there. Or use AveDesk. It's probably the best solution. I personally prefer to have no desktop icons at all.
