Icon Manager that can use .PNGs

Hello.

I'm looking for an application which can apply icon sets to your windows PC or easy change icons on single filetypes. I know there are programs like IconPackager and style XP. But how do you apply PNGoch icos which comes in a ZIP? Normal icons you can find on Devaintart or in this forum. I there an application which can manage all icons in the systems and apply PNGicons?

BTW. Which application do you use for making big OSXicons on your desktop? Do you use AveDesk?

There's no way to apply PNG files as icons on XP. You'll need to convert them using AveIconifier, IconDrop desklet or some other.

The only freeware program that I know of that allows you to add file specific icons is called IconX, search for it at virtual plastic. It's no longer in development & I'm not sure if it works on XP.

I use Icon Phile (also at virtual plastic or google it) to manager my icons but, IconTweaker is fairly simple to use. Both are freeware.

Desktop Icons are always AveDesk for me!
