Is it able to have a docklet that has an effect of a keypress?

In real Mac OS X, you turns to the dashboard when you click that docklet in the Dock.

In Yahoo widget engine, a keypress (default is F8) is required to show the "full background and apps darkened while widgets are shown on top" status.

So I want to make this effect on my Windows XP.

Is it possible?

on real mac, you can bring up dashboard by pressing F12 as well, just set Yahoo widget engine's keypress to F12
