Please help me install a desklet!

Hi guys,

Im having huge problems getting this avescritper to work. Here is what i have done...

I have unzipped the avedesk to my hard drive so it looks like this: c:Avedesk

I have ran the register.bat which is located in c:Avedesk and a dos box appears then dissapears. I hav downlaaded the avescripter_update.aveinst and ran it from c:Avedesk

A window appears like this when I double click the file:

it disappears after a while too...

I have spent over 45mins on trying to work this out and Im so stuck! I just want to install a weather widget to replace my konfabulator one...

I have followed the instructions from the sticky in the forum and I just can't work out what I'm supposed to be doing, not sure if I'm putting the files in the right place.

Help is very much appreciated...

What happens when you go to File-->Add a New Desklet?
