Offer something that no one else does. Really, it's not much different than being successful in a brick & mortar business. Be focused. Don't try to target everyone, or it will all be done half-assed. Pinpoint your target and do it best. During the first couple of years, you will be putting a lot into it, with getting little or none back. It's not magic.
Or, offer something someone else already has, but you do it much, much, much better. You add originality, good atmosphere, a place people want to visit. If you're just a copy of something that's already been done, then what reason do people have to visit?
