I use photoshop for hue and saturation mods...but meh. I'd like to know how to do a bit more than just shift the colors : /

But in order to get the icons into photoshop you have to convert into pngs. Im looking for a software that allows me to do so. Gconvert and iconworkshop were a few ideas that were thrown at me , but im a mac user and there not mac support!

Load Developer Tools and use Icon Composer. /Developer/Applications/Utilities/Icon Compser.app. Lets you customize, modify, and export the 128, 48, 32, and 16 states. The only condition is that you have to save your products as TIFFs with transparency.

Oh, and it's free.

There's really only one app you need; Pixadex. Oh and try ImageTricks for those simple operations.

Work on the icons as images, then turn back into icon.

Both of these are for Macs, both are called img2icns, but they are different programs.
