Getting my taskbar to look like the picture on flyakite's website

Hey people,

i'm not sure if i'm suppose to post this here or the question has been asked before and i'm annoying ou but still... i have to ask:

I've been using FlyakiteOSX on XP for a year now and love it. But how can I make my task bar, that looks like this

look like the real mac one, something like this?

In mine i'm missing the day before the clock (Thu 23:03) and the percentage of my battery and the File Edit View History etc. stuff. Can I do this? Is it in the Flyakite?

And also - can I have the SearchSpy icon? Cause right now i don't have none of that stuff *major blushing smiley missing here*

The one in ur second SS is an actual mac, but u can get a program to emulate that. its called objectbar, which is unfortunately a payware product. Using it with a Mac themed Skin will get your taskbar to look like exactly like that. Once you do decide to get it or u just wanna use the trial edition, u will be able to change the icons of the systray with the in built...systray..icon..changer. lol. now, spotlight, that's a something else. there are many programs out there that can emulate the abilities of spotlight e.g. searchspy which is included in the flyakite package, or you could look around here for some other ones. I never really found a use for spotlight, but hey...whatever floats your boat. is that all you need?

yeah spotlight is kinda useless now that you've mentioned it... but i thought if the little blue icon linked you to google it would be sorta nice =) ... well i'm not goonna get the payware cause i don't want it that much. but i just thought it would come with flyakite because on the flyakite webage it looks more like the mac one.

i'll ask another thing now that i'm rolling... i'm not sure if you're a flyakite user but maybe somebody on the forum is and can help me with the icons on the desktop. i don't have too much of them but can i make it (using flyakite) so that when you scroll over them they look like this

You could use something called IconX, which is also payware unfortunately. and yes, i am a Flyakite OSX User, and proud of it!

p.s. oh yea, to get a spotlight icon, you could always get Windowblinds, which, again, is a payware. It has certain skins which will add an inactive spotlight icon to your taskbar.

Dammit why are all these things on the flyakite page and not in the acctual flyakite. OMG my avatar sucks so bad =( i thought it would be moving =))

lol. what flyakite does is it modifies certain files to make them look like a mac. it changes shell32.dll, a component of windows that stores its icons, it changes ur help center's images, it modifies folders, etc. The rest is up to you.

I downloaded Finderbar and its working well so far.. Its not "useful" but it gives you the illusion..
