Picture turns green in Quicktime

I have a slight problem viewing QuickTime movies.

After some minutes, varying from video to video the video window turns just green.

The sound is there anymore, but no picture.

This is also happening with the plugin for Firefox 2.0.0.1.

It also seems like the pic is vanishing in kind of two stages, first the part above the diagonal line, half a second later the part below.

Anyone a guess how to fix it ?

I know how to fix it! Go to:

Quicktime Preferences --> deactivate DirectDraw Acceleration

I don't know if this helps you, if not deactivate all DirectX and switch to GDI Mode
