Low microphone volume

Hello everyone,

I am having a little trouble with my microphone , The thing is that the mic transferring very low

volume signals when i am using it. i tried to update my current audio drivers but it didn't help.

i even bought a new mic because i thought my old one got f00ked up.. but it didn't help too !

i really don't want to give up to this shiet .. and i want my mic to catch my voice from at least 1m,

does anybody familiar with this situation ? because its just started to happen a month ago and now

i really need my mic working fine and not talking 10cm from it because i will become a hunchback lol.

any help will be very appreciated !

What OS are you using? Windows or Mac OS X?

Windows XP

Try to increase the volume bezel of the microphone by right-clicking on the speaker icon in the tray and then opening the properties.

Some soundcards do also have an option called "MicBoost", maybe this helps, too.

hmm the mic volume is maxed and i dont have the Mic Boost option under the advanced microphone options.. and ideas ?

Hm... Maybe there's something wrong with your sound-card.

Try this:

- Ask a friend if he/she can lend you his/her sound-card

- Uninstall all soundrivers from your PC

- Replace the old sound-card with the new one

- Install drivers for the new sound-card
