Stuffit thing

I installed Stuffit Deluxe, but I've noticed that everytime I restart my iMac, there's this kind of "quick access" button on the upper right corner and I don't want it to be there. Where can I access tthat so that it wont show up each and every startup?

mmm...I'm using expander, try preferences maybe.

The only way I could get it to disappear was the following:

Click on your annoying icon..

Choose Quit (the last option on the drop down menu)

then go to search in finder

Search for MagicMenu

it should come up as MagicMenu.app

Drag this to the Trash or just trash it through keyboard shortcut

restart your machine and it will have gone.

Stuffit still works fine just no Magic Menu.

Its your choice from here if you decide to permanently delete the Magic Menu application.

:| Most likely Stuffshit is adding that application as a startup item

Now my question would be: is it possible to delete everything the Stuffit DELUXE provided and just leave the Expander? Will that affect the program?

Why don't you trash the app and download expander?

Basically its also the Stuffit, plus some other apps in it that's why its a Deluxe package. But basically what I only need is the Expander and the DropStuff. So is it safe to remove everything else but those two?

Is there a Startup folder in Mac that I can see the apps starting up on boot? So I can delete the Stuffit?

System Preferences-->Accounts (under System)-->Login Items

Note that the check box does not refer to whether it will or will not start up. Use the minus button to delete the Stuffit.
