I Need A Kindhearted Teacher!

I tried it many many times, maybe it's impossible...

I don't want the ObjectBar to be always on top, that would overlap my opened windows, and drop shadow on the edge. But I've no idea how to do it.

So I think there may be some kindhearted and mastered teacher could tell me,if so,I would be much appreciated.Thank you!

Wish you a wonderful summer vacation!

when windows are at full screen objectbar overlaps them and since the shadow is attached to the bar it will overlap as well. i think this is a problem that must get on peoples nerves who are on 1024x768 res

You mean I can solve this problem in 1280*1024?I have tried, but it still didn't work.Any other suggestions please?

Sorry I didn't see this earlier. I can suggest 2 ways to do this but it involves using 2 other products from Stardock.

1. using WFX, there is an option to set the maximum window size and window position

2. using DesktopX, you can go to DestopX Settings, go to Theme Settings/Desktop and reduce your work area. I set mine at 30 for the top (ObjectBar) and 50 for the bottom (ObjectDock)

Hope that helps you. :)

Thanks GameboyzGB!But my problem is not to reduce the maximum window area, but is that I don't want Objectbar to drop shadow on windows. But thank you all the same!

Okay I see now what you mean. The only thing I can think of at the moment is to turn off the shadow from the bar and create a fake shadow on your desktop background.

yup.

the easiest way is to clear your entire desktop... icons, dock, everything except for object bar and the shadows. then take a screenshot, save the image and set it as background... then remove winfx shadows from your objectbar.
