Changing only desktop icon sizes

Is there a way to only change the size of desktop icons, while not affecting the sizes of icons in Explorer windows per say?

yes but as i stated in some of my earlier threads i can't seem to get PidlShortcut to work...

IconX can do it as well. Though it doesn't seem to work at the same time as Avedesk, last time I had used it anyway.
