can i go back to Windows XP after installation?

My questions is pretty much the title; can i go back to using my laptop in the regular Windows XP version after i install it? i'm pretty much computer illiterate and so i was just wondering if i can EASILY go back to the regular windows XP version. and if i can, is it very hard... i love the way the mac looks, but i'm kinda scared to download fly a kite because i'm afraid i won't know how to do anything... also, they said that i will have to log in in the beginning once i download it... if i do, how do i find my user password now so that i know... i'm not completely sure if i remember it now... thanks for anyone who can help me...

yes, there's a builtin uninstaller in case you decide not to use FlyakiteOSX anymore.

Welcome to A-S :)

There is always the option of reformatting and installing XP again. :P

okay... so i have to uninstall it to not use it... is it anything like windows blinds? cause i used to have that, but then my free trial ran out and i cant get it back, even though i uninstalled it and reinstalled it... all i really want is the look of a mac... im kinda intimidated by the actual workings of one...

umm yeah but its seriously simple... its not like windows blinds. Its a series of system modifications and programs all bundled into one neat package. That neat package can be easily installed and uninstalled at will like a program to make everything go back to how it was if you dont like it.

If theres certain parts of flyakite you dont like, you can disable them (or choose not to install them)...

if you just want to make your computer look macish then go with a theme for windows blinds. It wont be as complete as flyakite, and not everything will be skinned but everything will continue to work like XP even if some things arent skinned to be mac like...

I have this fear too....

I have been lurking for a while, even built my own mac, I know, I know, its bad, but in the long run I will end up buying a mac sometime soon, therefore, I really want to install this.

Since my last post, a while ago, or since rather my first post, I came here and there where all these problems of undeleting...

Here is the scoop, I use this XP windows box, dual screen (will it be supported with FAK) and use it for work, Web, Music, Sound Design, Songwriting...so will it mess with this?

I really want it to act exactly like a mac so what should I install and not install and should I create a restore point before installing and will all my audio plugins and software work?

What about Camino browser and GENIE effect, dashboard (move mouse and all the programs dissapear), F12-F14.

PS, I don't think there was an uninstall program a year ago...many could not get it to completely remove all the .dll files. I simply can not afford to have to re-install windows...

Make sense?

please advise!

Thanks
