Aqua-Soft Forumsi was just wondering, i just connected my iPod, and i saw this new file called BOOTEX spawn in it (E:). It says that Windows needs to check one of my drives for consistency. What is this?
What is BOOTEX?

I think its just one of the regular consistency checks...
i put it here cause it appeared in my iPod Drive (E:)...and...yea.
I've had that happen to all my dirves, and my USB disk once..... I think it's ok to delete it.
The last time Windows tried to check the consistency of my iPod it corrupted the whole file system. 
well thats something id like to avoid :slant:
Weird.. I've never had it go corrupt.
