Ice - AveTunes (I've done a lot of the work for you...)

I've designed an AveTunes skin, but am clueless on how to do the .ini file. I was thinking about becoming a skinner for AveTunes, but am hoping to have someone shed some light on this for me.

So, I've attached a .psd file including my design. Here's a preview:

It's translucent, so I think it should be kinda fun to do.

I was thinking an AveTunes skinner with some previous experience could work with this and create a working .aveinst file, and I can pick it apart and learn, so hopefully I can start doing some skinning of my own ;)

I'm pretty sure all you have to do is click the button in History called Duplicate State (or something along those lines, for some reason my tooltips aren't showing right now) as many times as there are images that you need, turn off all the other layers, trim the image canvas using transparent pixels, and bam, you have all the .png files you need this way. But you probably already knew that, haha.

Just trying to save you from having to try to recreate that ;)

*fingers crossed*

[edit]

I realize a pause button will probably be needed. Here's a link to the .png for the pause button: http://www1.pacific.edu/~aevins/ButtonPause.png

This looks like a nice cool (:P) theme! Anyone up for the challenge?

I've never made a skin before, but I've modded quite a few. I think I understand how they work. I'll give it a go you want.

Actually, I think after a little more effort, I have accomplished making my first skin for AveTunes.

I've worked quite hard at this. I've scoured everything, and this is the best I could come out with.

Critiques?

Wow, that's some good work, nrossow. Your code is quite consice, no extra mumbo-jumbo.

I think the only two differences I see are the album art panel and the play/pause button, otherwise, ours are pretty close.

I think I also added a small shadow under the text on mine.

Thanks for working with this, I appreciate it very much!

Sure, it was fun.

Ya I noticed that our codes were very similar.

Thanks for the compliment.
