I just got Adobe PhotoshopCS2 v9.0, but, i have no idea how to even use photoshop. whitch is stupid i know, seeing as CS2 is one of the most advanced photoshops on the market. i was wondering if

PS can be very intimidating. Just like anything else you gotta start somewhere, just like everyone else did. Unbe is right about Google though. You can Google just about anything PS related. PhotoShop terms or PhotoShop tools would be a good start.

Otherwise... apart from all of the tutorials mentioned, I'd honestly just start fooling around and seeing what you come up with. It's my personal favourite way to learn.

... best teacher of photoshop is yourself. I have been using photoshop for five years now, and am still learning new things or new ways...
Photoshop is not difficult or hard to use, just that it has a LOT of features.
So best way.... create a file (file>new), copy and past some random photos in (ie- more than one), fiddle with the menus up the top see what they all do (try filters, adjustments etc) and most importantly try working with layers (in a palette on the right) try moving the layers up and down the list to re-order them (and get use to the concept) and also adjust the transparencies etc etc etc...
then try the tools on the left, you should recognise some basic ones- such as the paintbucket, paintbrush etc...
fiddling is the photoshop way, people who give proper tutorials show you only one way to do something... there are more than one way to skin a cat in photoshop... you have to experiment to get the desired effects, thats how I made this;
