Widescreen Monitor

I just got a new SyncMaster941BW 19" Widescreen Anolog/Digital Monitor. its not working out to well. i instaled the software and drivers, and the best setting is 1152x864pixles but when i restarted the computer -or- turn off the monitor for 10+min; the sceen didnt fit, the size of the everything grew to the point i cou;ld no longer see the taskbar and the icons scrambled.

how do i make the widescreen not make my computer stretch??!!!

Do you have the ltest drivers? Makes sure you update the drivers and see if that helps.

after a stagering 36hours of busting my balls trying to fix this problem. i think i figured out how to fix it. ive been instaling the "anolog driver" so i tryed installing the "digital driver" and when i restarted it i didnt get the anoying oversized, shaking, blury image. OPPs.

it's up to graphic card u r using, this could happen due to higher resolution monitor

okay so after another coupla hours non stop, it turns out. it needs to be reseted??? weired i know.

so when its overly big, if i turn the monitor off/on once its the same. but when i do that a second time, its perfect????

what does this mean?, did i buy a shitty monitor (even though its samsung syncmaster)

or

is my video card (Realtek came with my Acer computer)?
