Installing for only one user

Hey guys. I'm new to this forum. Anyhow, I'd like to say that I've been looking over FlyAKiteOSX for quite a while, and I have to say, it looks quite impressive. However, I'm in need of some help.

So, I haven't installed FAKOSX yet. I have gone through the install files already, but I decided not to risk installing yet. I only want to instal FlyAKite on one username, since I don't want to risk damaging the entire computer if something goes wrong. However...I'm a little stuck on how to do this. Just to say, is it possible to only install FAK on one username? And if it is (I think it should be, but I need to make sure), exactly how do you do it?

Anyhow, sorry for this sort of noob-ish question, and thanks for the help. I need to untangle myself from this confusion.

One user? No. It replaces system files with icons and certain graphics. These effect the system on a global scale, so you cannot confine the installation to one user.

What you could do is install a second hard drive, with WinXP, and set up a dual boot (I believe when you install Windows on the second hard drive, like normal but direct it to the secondary hard drive, it will automatically make it a dual boot). Thus, when you want to use OS XP, restart the computer and select the OS X version from the boot menu.

While this a a piece of software that will globally change your files, I run XP with two users on a single HD and the majority of the other account stays the same (XP Luna style).

It looks basically the same with the exception of icons and a few other visuals.

If its the other persons usability of XP that your worried about then there is no need. My girlfriend uses her account with no problems and I use mine with the flyakite pack installed.

Obviously globaly the boot screen and login screen will look different on both accounts.

Hope this helps.
