Choosing Between 3 Monitors

Hi all,

I have decided i am going to purchase a LCD 19 inch monitor today... and I have 3 models that have stood out.

First is a 19 inch widescreen from samsung

Next is a 19 inch widescreen from viewsonic...this is the cheapest but there is no DVI .

Finally is the most expensive, lowest response rate monitor..a 19 inch viewsonic.

Which of these Looks best for the price...is the most expensive viewsonic really worth the extra money?

Out of the 3 which would you buy. Opinions are welcome !

thanks!

My advice would be the Samsung but I'm partial because I have 3 19" Samsungs. :D

also, there are 2 reviews on the samsung, both promising, why not check the pro's and cons or equivilent on another hardware site?

You might want to wait after CES and MacWorld 07 to see whats coming out. Apple suppose to bring out a new display, a 17" inch Cinema Display and there going to be integrated the iSight camera in the monitors. So the price might drop on the current Apple displays.

My experience with Samsung's has been iffy. The bases have always been flimsy and a dead pixel has always appeared in at lest 9 months. I currently own 2, 17" Sony's and these have been nothing short of perfect. despite the lack of dvi inputs, the picture is amazing. I would choose the viewsonic wide screen, mainly because I see no point in buying a standard 19" when a 17" has the same resolution and you can save money that way. And that is why I own two 17".
