instead of 'movies'? yup, i got my 30gb ipod for xmas (surprising, as i wasn't that good!). so, i got the ok go 'here it goes again' video in mp4 format, perfect for ipod. in itunes i go file|add file and the video gets added. i then sync it to my ipod, but it shows up under 'movies.' how can i get it to show under 'music videos'?

in the Get Info of the file, there is a tab where you can change video type between movie and music video. That's it!
also, to get them to play in normal playlists, uncheck the "skip while shuffling", and (itunes really needs to do this automatically) uncheck the "remember playback position", since im sure you don't really need to resume a music video from 2:00 etc.

well, that was simple. thx guys! and here's where i'm a jerk about this wonderful gift: i had asked for amazon gift certificates so i could get the one i want (the 80gb) as i already have $100 still on credit there. so, i love my 30, but it's not really what i asked for. also, i just got it yesterday, and there's only 5gb left!
same for me, but i'd rather have it now then the chunky 80GB one i've seen some people dragging around!
