Minimum install requirements?

I downloaded flyakite 3.5 and started the install. I am then asked to select which components I would like to install.

??? What are the minimal items I need to install? I get a little scared when I see things like "outlook express", DLLs etc. in the list of components available for installing.

Isn't there something like a minimal required installation?

You can install whatever you want . I believe there are explanations for pretty much every item.

I DO NOT recommend installing the iTunes Mplugin skin (use the version linked from the sticky at the top of the iTunes forum instead). I also wouldn't install skins for programs you don't use.

Unless you're one of the unlucky ones, nothing bad will happen. Do, however, make a complete backup of your system if you're unsure.

When I was using older versions of Flyakite (I never got around to installing the latest version, and I'm now on a Mac), I did install all the dlls--it adds that nice final touch by changing all your system icons.

like nightcrawler said, install everything except mplugin. download mplugin from here and install separately. (also, i've never had a problem installing skins for apps i don't have. maybe it's just me).
