you want to get linux on it as in as some kind or partittion to boot your computer to it, or as in installing a linux flavor on it tu run the ipod software OS?
... is that even possible?
run your OS off your iPod :-p
I don't think they're Linux-compatible
okay seriously that linux on ipod is jsut nots
god linux can run on everything
even my damn toaster
-bolero
I meant you can't use an iPod with Linux - meaning you can't transfer songs to and from an ipod to a Linux machine.
I could be wrong though..
where the hell is Contra?
now... synching a iPod with music on a Linux machine i believe is possible i think i read something about it in:
however... running linux of an iPod... i'm pretty sure it's not possible
then again... i may be wrong... i don't know much about linux....
actually taha.. you can with linux.... iv seen it somewhere ![]()
For those of you that have an Ipod, I advice you Ephpod. It's a free software
that allows you to do all you want playlists, renaming files and so on..
thanx but i found the site. uClinux its called actually and it can run on an ipod. Get uClinux for iPod
i second the vote for EphPod. I use it all the time to transfer songs to my iPod. Mine is the second generation 10GB with the touch wheel, tho
Oh well, I still think mine looks better than the new ones.
