4.1 Bugs.

execelent piece of software.

I found 1 issue tho.

The shortcuts that need to have their work directory set are not working any more... i.e. Quake 3 wont work any more starting from the dock. This was working in 4.0 but it is not working in 4.1

they always show the yzdock folder only.

One issue...I have shortcuts to my floppy and CF drives on the dock. Since version 0.4 I get errors on startup of the dock if the drives are empty asking me to insert a disk into the drive. I have to hit "cancel" for both drives then the dock starts up and runs OK. This didn't happen in previous versions. I assume it's got something to do with v0.4x checking for active apps to display a triangle (or something along those lines) that previous versions didn't do. Kind of annoying to have Y'z in my startup and the machine doesn't come up clean now - I always have to clear those two error boxes. The interesting thing though is this doesn't happen with the shortcut to my CD drive - which is also a removable drive...not sure what's different about it and the other removable drives.

I'm still NOT getting a triangle for most apps, only for IE or Netscape browser not the other apps. like Wordpad or Photoshop or Dreamweaver.

I did find this out:

I think I know why on Y's dock version .40 & .41 not every icon bounces.

In the property window for the icon, under "Link to:" if you place the path with quotation marks the icon will launch the app or folder but it will not bounce. If you remove the quotation marks it will bounce.

Ex:

Link to : " C\Program Files\Nantucked.exe" <==> Icon will launch Nantucked.exe but icon will not bounce

Link to: C\Program Files\Nantucked.exe" <==> Icon will launch Nantucked.exe and it will bounce

I am having problems with .004version I load a few icons on to the dock and then it crashes making me start all over. I like the program but I hate the bug. where do I extrat the program to? does it matter where I extrat it to?

I've been having the same problems with crashing when adding icons. It seems to reset itself. I have yet to figure out this one
