Hi everyone,

I'm starting up a project called iKDE which will be a total brushed metal style for KDE. So far I have only done a splash screen (which I will release on kde-look.org in the next few weeks).

I'm also starting a XMMS theme called iXMMS (and might make a noatun theme).

Other things planned:

Brushed metal style iceWM theme

Redisigning the logout box (and hopefully redesigning the KDE login box)

Hopefully a total brushed metal interface (note, I may also make it aqua style)

Intergation of other KDE themes (mac os cursors, aqua icons, etc)

The time this project wil take is unknown as I will have to learn a lot more about modifying the KDE enviroment and how much Uni work I have to do.

In the next few days, I will be putting up the iKDE website and the lastest versions of iSplash (thats right I said versions, an updated brushed metal version and the new aqua version)

Keep an eye out.

BTW. I have done the iBar designs and now just need to implement them (any volunteers to create iBar?)

iSplash Brushed Metal 1.1's tar.gz file has been reported as broken. I will investigate and fix it up next time I am in linux (currently in XP)

Currently iKDE is idling as I have only graphic design experience and no coding.

One thing thats planned is iM, an instant messanger like Trillian but iChat style skin
