Desklet names keep getting reset

After the reboot of the computer all icons have names like vlc.exe instead of VLC how to setup the desklets so they show VLC instead after reboot?

In the label format tab of the desklet's properties, there is probably a checkmark ticked next to the "Automatically set the label to the file name this desklet points to" (or something like that). Uncheck that.
