file creation date gets lost

hi there

i'm having a very strange problem..

when i went to transfer my stuff from my windows pc to the mac (via external drive) all the tranfered files seem to lose their creation date :slant:

this problem also occours when moving stuff from the mac to a fat16 or 32 formated flash-drive

what the hell is up with that?

i need some seroius help!

Hmm, this happened to me too over a network drive. I'm not sure what's up...
