Well, the newest version lags like hell for me, also the icons don't bounce when I click on them..
Y'z Dock 0.3 beta was perfect, speedy as hell. Almost no problems with it at all.
Any ideas why 0.41 is laggy for me and why the icons don't bounce for me? 
PS. I have the "Animate opening Apps." checked.

Ok, well it's still laggy, but the only icon that doesn't bounce is the "My Computer" one 
There are going to be several issues with any of the docks and bringing new features means inserting more code and also trying to see how it behaves with earlier code. A newer version does not necessarily mean it is free of bugs. Newer versions usually solve one bug and bring another. Hopefully more bugs are fixed and less created but that is part of the process. You will have to be patient, nobody has a right to be pssd 'caused nobody paid a cent and nobody placed any hours to improve the app. . So that is not a right anybody has, and it is a little ungreatful. Don't like it, don't use it. Go and buy an app you like or do without it. Let's not be abusive to people that are trying to contribute and do something creative for all of us.. If there is a problem with it, report the bug. 
Well, with 0.3 I had the background transperancy was set to full, so the the background was invisible.
When I do that with 0.4/0.41 the DOCK's all laggy.
I hope it can be fixed.
Best dock ever, I can "suffer" having a background, but it'd be great if the problem could be sorted out.
Bah, I meant dock, the dock's laggy, sorry for any conusion.
with .41, i am still having that issue where it is kind of hard to drop an icon on the dock. at first when i open it (out of the .zip, just to test it), i would need to take an icon and hold it over the little seperator line, so the dock would expand an i can drop the icon. as soon as it expands for me, it shrinks back, because the line moves so my mouce is over nothing now (just the background of the dock) and it shrinks back to the 'inactive size'. i have found that to be really hard to just get an icon on the dock @_@.
another issue i have, which is kind of the same thing, would be running my mouse across the dock. before in 3.1no matter where you where around an icon on a side, it would expand and still smoothly travel to the next. on the .4x, when ever my mouse reaches the edge of an icon it shrinks back down... d'oh! so its also at the short time i have tested it, a pain to move from icon to icon. the only place i think smooth navigation on this dock was, would possibly be running the curser side to side at the bottom of you screen right next to the bottom of the dock.
the final issue i have experenced would be, after i placed 3 icons on the left side of the devider, for some reason that devider dissapreard, the right most icon was part of the edge of the dock... which is not really an issue for me, the only time i use the right side of the devider is to place things like easy access mp3 files i may need or to keep a note , but the problem is, once that devider is gone, i found no way to access the settings menu @_@
hopefully these will be fixed in .5 or .42 or the near future, for now, i think i will stick with .31
