The price is good and the reviews are mainly positive, but I want to know what you guys think before I buy two of these. Is Buffalo a good vendor?

P.S: This thread, where I got the link from, also seems to have good things to say. I'm leaning towards buying this...
the only thing i remember buffalo making is routers and modems and other networking stuff...so i dunno...i wouldnt risk it on your nice macbook personally but then again they might be fine....
i'm like zondajag in that i know about their routers and stuff, didn't know they made memory. i've never heard of bad memory hurting a computer. worse it could do is not work, i s'pose. and newegg is reputable, they'll honor a return if need be. i'd go for it.
I think it should be fine. If you're skeptical, for $3 more you could get the G.SKILL from Newegg, which is a well-known brand.
funny, im about to buy a stick of 512mb pc3200 buffalo ram right now for my pc and its latency is comparable to the higher priced rams, i dont know why more people arent buying this brand but i dont see any reason not to trust them.
Well, I bought the RAM dreamsINdigital suggested, from G.Skill. It's interesting, it looks like the price went up another $3 from when I bought it, 4 days ago.
There don't seem to be any problems yet! I ran memtest several times and it all came back clean. I'll post back if there are any problems, but so far, I'm satisfied 
. Everything's much faster now too!

congratz NC, you know what? I just wish we could use those 2GB stick with our white chocolate bars.. I have one sitting right on my desk in front of me but can't use it 
I know the MBP accept those sticks, just dunno why the MacBooks don't
