Problems with a GeForce 7300GT

I recently got an nVIDIA GeForce 7300GT (AGP / 256MB DDR2) and overall it works well... hoewever. sometimes, I am experimenting problems while playing game, like the other day while playing Fable everything just froze, or after having played NFS Carbon the screen started flickering and froze, and other problems as well.

My computers specs are:

  • Intel Pentium4 @ 2.4 GHz
  • 1 GB of RAM
  • nVIDIA GeForce 7300GT w/ latest drivers installed
  • 400W PSU;

PSU Info
AC Input >> Voltage = 115 V~ / 230 V~
>> Current = 8 A / 4 A
>> Frequency = 60 Hz - 50 Hz

DC Output >> Voltage = +3.3 V / +5 V / + 12 V
28 A / 45 A / 118 A

>> Current = -5 V / -12 V / + SVSB
0.8 A / 1 A / 2.5 A

>> Frequency = PS - ON / POK / COM
REMOTE / P.G / RETURN

MAX >> Voltage = 120 W / 218 V
>> Current = 4 W / 12 W / 12.5 W

I think it has something to do with power supply, but I'm not sure... please help :)

Thanks :)

7300GT is a low range in nVidia 7 series, it is not a recommendable VGA for gaming.

@mboixo: I don't know about that, the 7300GT is in fact a 7600 Lite... I have played many games on it and they worked well...

Clean drivers (Driver Cleaner Pro) and reinstall drivers Forceware.
