Aqua-Soft ForumsI downloaded some sounds for Windows that were supposed to resemble a mac but i didn't really notice anything. I am looking for logging on sounds... logging off sounds... start up and shut down.... etc. ... It doesn't need to be all in a package or something you could just attach sound files (.wav) and I'll download them and place them where they need to go. If anyone could help with this much would be appreciated.

you can put them in windowsmedia, or anywhere else... and change it through controlpanel>sounds and audio devices > sounds tab
I think that was the same one I downloaded and do believe it doesn't have log on or off sounds etc. I was wondering if anyone knew a person running mac os x then they could somehow find the files used to make the sound and upload them someone on the internet and give them to me? Sorry if I am asking a lot.
I have the Tiger sounds on my server: http://www.ajatech.net/fileshare/tiger_sounds.zip . They are in aif form, so you will need to convert them. Trust me, they're not that impressive.
I also have the iChat sounds, they may sound better to you: http://www.ajatech.net/fileshare/iChat-sounds.zip . I believe these are in aif also.

how do you convert them and what do i convert them too? .wma im guessing rite? srry i dont have much knowledge when it comes to this
I set iTunes to convert to .mp3, then I use Audacity to convert from .mp3 to .wav so Windows can use them.
great!! the ichat sounds were in wav but the other ones were in aiff but i was able to convert them... the only thing is i was more looking for sounds like logging on to the computer and logging off cuz i still have that windows sound... and i don't particulary care for it.. idk if you could do this unless you were able to "switch users" without actually logging off... know what i mean... while recording the sound or something but if u could it would be great.... but thanks for the other sounds...
