I was wondering if anybody knows if there is a keyboard shortcut for Mac for a certain action. The action I'm aiming for is selecting multiple files, in consecutive order, by just selecting the first and last file. In Windows this is achieved by shift-clicking the first and last file, but I'm looking for an OS X solution, anybody know of one?
Shift-Click like on a pc..but for Mac
Apple + A, or click in white space and drag your mouse to select them.
Same banana (shift-click) but you have to set the View as List or as Columns. Icon view only allows one-by-one selection.
@wizard: Yeah, I know about rubberband selecting, that's easy for maybe 10 files, but dragging get's very tedious if ur dealing with 500+ files, say photos?
@GameboyzGB: Looking to do it in just plain icon-view, which AFAIK does allow multiple file selection using rubberband selecting
You can use Cmd + Click to select multiple items in Icon View.
