Image viewer/fetcher for avedesk

Hi

i am in a need for a imageviewer desklet fot avedesk.

You may ask ... what the hell do you need it for having loads of apps with that capability...well

i need one image to be shown on my desktop and refreshed once in a while(the time period could be customizable), and this image should be taken from a local address or a http location(stress of this feature)

is this possible?

Thanks loads for the effort but its not the thing i was talking about

i have seen ave view before -> but its a external app not a avedesk desklet

and id doesnt (from what i've seen) show images from external locations

as a matter fo fact it does, but there seems to be no way of showing images from the net

judging from "avetunes" cover art widgets this should not be a big problem, Could i ask somebody to make sth like that basing on the cover art feature of avetunes

yes, but then on refresh it will default back to the local directory

do not know why but it actually shows some images (presumably dependend on the format) , but like the next post states....it does not refresh...

ok i skimed thru the sdk

...

i pasted the modified script from the example to the battery desklet just to see how i works..but then it bacame invisible in the add desklet window they i tried to....do many things but with no luck, unfortuletally im not familiar with xml nor any other programming language.

Is there an "AVEscripter for dummies" tutorial anywhere cause the sdk help is a bit to elaborated for me
