Misc. Miranda questions

Here's the dealio.

Recently I decided to change im clients to miranda.

I installed all the most up to date plugins and most up to date miranda build. But for some reason a bunch of features won't work. Such as displaying icons on my contact list. I know I've seen people do it but why can't I? I read through all the threads and still nothing works.

Second whenever I try to apply an ieview skin I get errors out the butt. This example is useing the newest build of ieview. And the newest build of Tabsrmm.

Maybe I'm just stupid, but I can't figure this out for the life of me. If this is the wrong section please move it. But it seemed the most logical place to put it.

Icons? Do you mean avatars? You have to turn them on in options->contact list->row items->avatars. do you have ie7 installed ? if yes, thats is cause of your ieview problems and you need this version of ieview http://faith.mirandaim.ru/archive/IEView/I...10.17@23-53.rar. Also register here http://www.miranda-vi.org/. Upload your version info (done with this plugin http://addons.miranda-im.org/details.php?a...iewfile&id=2351 ) . And compare if you really have most recent plugins

Thanks for the help, the ieview now works. But as far as displaying avatars in the contact list, none of them show up, I clicked the radio button. But nothing shows?

Can you show me your plugins list? You can also check under network, in some protocols (msn, icq,) you have to enable avatars separately

aim currently doesn't support avatars, in msn and icq you have to enable them (under network options in each protocol) And get avatar service plugin if you want avatars in message window http://addons.miranda-im.org/details.php?a...iewfile&id=2990. One tip dbx_mapp driver is faster you may use it instead old dbx_3x. You can get it from nightly build, also most recent plugins http://www.miranda-im.org/development/

What kind of a program doesn't support aim icons?..... I'm baffled. :(

Oh well, I guess I'm back to trillian. Thanks for your help snake.
