How do I change the settings of iTalk?

How do I change settings such as the name that appears when I log on etc.?

In the readme it has a section titled INI File, then goes on to talk about what the different settings are, but I have no INI file in my iTalk directory. I tried creating a document named settings.ini and put the following in:

FirstName=timmy

LastName=

UserName=timmyeatworld@hotmail.com

Password=imnotthatstupid

Sounds=Y

ChatBalloonColor=0

OtherChatBalloonColor=1

OverrideOtherChatBalloonColor=0

ChatFont="Lucide Sans Unicode"

OverrideOtherChatFont="Lucide Sans Unicode"

Fontsize=8

It didn't change anything though...am I missing something? :blink:

Hey, looks like you are editing the wrong file.. Goto your documents and settings folder (usually C:\Documents and Settings\) and then your user name and application data folder.. if you dont see a folder called application data you need to disable the hide hidden files and folders.. look for a folder called iTalk and there should be a file called iTalk.ini and you need to edit that... hope this helps sorry if its not specific enough

I'm currently working on the Preferences dialog for iTalk so you won't have to manually edit the INI file.
