Changing Icons to PNG

Is there a program that allows you to change your icons to .PNG instead of .ICO? i heard that apparently that Windows cant handle having desktops in .PNG format...so...any suggestions?

i tried iconifier, but i didn't make em into 64px. i went into the temp folder and all i saw was 32px... unless...i went into the wrong folder? where do the transformed files end up after theyre finished in Iconifier??

okay....open app, all u have to do is drag ur .icon into icon box then drag ur PNG icon out of it to ur desktop. DONE

if u like to convert PNG into .ico it's vice versa

i think its icon pixel itself does not support that big, try another icon

thats the only icon i have. it goes up to 256px so its fine

Try Ave IconDrop (a desklet for AveDesk, which I believe uses a different algorithm) or iConstructor, by Rimmer.
