hey i dont know if you've already resolved your problem but i had this issue with alot of my links... my problem was that instead of dragging the actual .exe onto the dock, i dragged the shortcuts i made, and for some reason (probably not supported) they would never load. So i right clicked the icon on my dock and hit dock item properties and changed the target to my actual msn.exe or whatever file. gl
