Weeding through a million websites on transformers, I came across an image called lithograph arcee dreamwave : (excuse the .jpg data loss)

I thought it was an interesting drawing because of the way it portrayed the lighting coming from the city and reflecting on the face and legs of the robot. Like a strange nighttime on an alien world.
I decided to go to work with my newly aqcuired copy of paintshop pro 8.0. First saturation went up 46%. Then highlight/midtone/shadow changed 100, 50, 20 respectively. Then contrast went up 10% and brightness went down 15%.
Finally blue went up 45%.
I added 4 lightsources. One each in the eyes, pointing down. And 2 below the figure. One quite far below, and one closer but with a narrower cone.
Following these colour and lights changes the result was this.
And after a simple dilate it was this:
The blurring is intentional, I wanted the picture to look less like a drawing.
Result :
And finally a reduction in gamma to 0.70, and we have a nighttime version.
