Fixing New Tab Button in Firefox 2.0

Hi People.

Some fox 1.5 themes tweaked to function in 2.0 seem to have the tabs bar shifted to the right and the New Tab Button "borrows" the color from the toolbar area (see the attached image). Any ideas how to fix this flaw? I am guessing it requires a modification of the browser.css file, but I have no idea what exactly needs to be tweaked.It is really a minor bug but as they say, the devil (god?) is in the details, right? I will appreciate any help.

Huh! Here I go answering my own question. Quite by accident I discovered that the described flaw in fox 2.0 was caused by the tabbrowser preferences extension. Once unistalled, everything is tip top. This is not to say that the extension is no good; the poorly "hacked" themes are responsible. Anyways, thought I'd bother to post this in case anybvody has a similar problem.
