If you're speaking about the white background, then open SS and under the Explorer tab, expand Miscellaneous > select colors > in the right hand side, select the Section tab > then expand Window > select "Background - Window" and change the color to what you want.

Note: this is a global change.

I don't think you can customize the My Computer window other than that...at least I've never seen it before.
