WindowBlinds tab-buttons not styled (also using FlyakiteOSX)

Hi there, I have FlyakiteOSX v.3.5 installed and I'm using WindoBlinds. Now I have the following problem: The tab-buttons are displayed as the original grey Windows buttons instead of the the OSX aqua tabs which are implied in the theme, see image:

I have already uninstalled Styler and Y'z shadow, I uninstalled WindowBlinds several times and reinstalled it by using Stardock Central... but no changes to the tabs.

Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

If you have the free version then the reason why they aren't skinned is because the free version doesn't skin them.

I have bought WindowBlinds v. 5.1 and installed it via Stardock Central.

So that cannot be the reason for my prob.

Nobody who has the same problem?

Try different themes. If the problem disappears, then the skin you're using may be incomplete. If other windowblinds skins show the same unskinned tabs, you may have to try uninstalling Flyakite's mod to see if anything changes.

just reload the theme, I have this problem sometimes, it seems that all of the theme changes don't "push through" to get to every element. Reload the theme and it will completly load correctly.

Also make sure that "Skin Tab Controls" in Basic Settings in the WB-config dialogue is ticked.

I would recommend uninstalling both, and then just reinstalling Windowblinds and see how that works.

Thanks for your suggestions.

I have uninstalled flyakiteOSX and all Stardock Software and afterwards only installed WindowBlinds but the problem is still there.

I have also applied the theme several times an applied other themes in between. I found out that the problem with the tabs appears in every skin...:(

I cannot find the opion "Skin Tab Controls" anywhere in WindowBlinds Settings...:slant:

That is really a weird problem ...

Try this.

http://www.stardock.com/files/ODNT_zapper.exe

It should remove all traces of Stardock software, so you can try a clean install again. My fear is the flyakite software conflicted somehow and is causing the problem.

Thank you very much!!!

I uninstalled WindowBlinds by using ODNT_zapper.exe. I also removed all Stardock registry entries I could find.

After reboot I dowloaded once more the latest WindowBlinds enhanced version ordered a new Seriela Number and installed it...

an what do I see? It works fine !!!

The only thing that is still curious is, that the functions of the "OSX-Button" (the one who sits on the right side of the window titlebar, where normally the application icons are) do not work.

If I open the theme in SkinSudio, the button-function "onClick" is set to rollUp/rollDown the current window. But on click there only appears the normal rightclick menu.

Does anyone know why these functions do not work?

Another problem is that I still don not have the enhanced option features in WindowBlinds.

In the help file it sais that some options (e.g. "skin Tab Controls") are only available in the enhanced Version. But I have bought the enhanced version of WindowBlinds 5 and do not have these special features.

THANKS A LOT FOR YOUR HELP and would be nice if someone has a solution for my other probs ...

The current version of WB does not have that option to select. Windowblinds skins the tabs if the theme uses them.

ok than you for that information. I think I am satisified now :)

The other problem with these rollUp/Down Button is not so important for me ...

------------------------------------------------------------------------

So I found out why these buttons do not work. It is because of the new per pixel option in windowblinds 5. In the per pixel mode you cannot add self defined buttons to the window titebar because you are limited to the pre defined buttons, e.g. close, close simple, maximize, minimize ...

I hope the next update of windowblinds will add an option to add ones own buttons.
