raster to vector

Hey guys,

I have made an image in Photoshop and I want to make it into a vectar based image. It's a black and white line art image. I know I should have used Illustrator to begin with, but I don't know Illustrator at all. So I was wondering how I can make my .psd/image into a vector image, so I can scale the image without destroying the picture.

You can use the pen tool and make all the lines, then you scale the path and stroke it

Illustrator has a tool that will automiate the process (not very well though, but ok if the image is simple).

Now would be a good time to learn illustrator.

Try to use Inkscape http://www.inkscape.org/ after saving into a jpg-file, avoid too many colors.

There is an easy to use R2V converter included.
