Need some help with my first iTunes skin

Hi, I'm new to skinning and have been messing around with some resources to try and make an iTunes skin that goes with the SmoothStripes Gloss theme I'm running in Windowblinds.

Could you take a look at my sreenshot, I have 3 main issues:

I'd like to be able to edit the small green/brown bars that appear on the progress bar as a song is played, but I can't find the file.
Near the pointers, the slider backgrounds aren't completely skinned, do I need to make the pointers longer?
In mini mode, the pink pixels at the corners are visible, how to I make those areas transparent?

I'm sure these are basic errors/inabilities on my part, but your help would be appreciated all the same.
