Rklauncher off flash drive issue

I am trying to run rklauncher off of a u3 jumpdrive via a u3 shortcut maker. I can get it to run off of the drive just fine, but the problem i have is that when ever I remove the drive from a computer put it in another computer with different drive letters all of my shortcuts dont match the directories that they should launch from. Does anyone know of a way to make the shortcuts change depending on the drive letter that the drive is at the moment.

Any help is greatly appreciated

I had this issue too for running my portable apps.

Solution:

1. create a folder for all your programs on your thumbdrive. Put all programs in their respective folder within your programs folder; this includes RKlauncher.

2.configure the links on your dock to the programs without the drive letter

If your program is located e:programsprog1prog1.exe, then point it to programsprog1prog1.exe

Rklauncher will assume that since you did not declare a drive, that it is on the default. I know this works because I am using my thumbdrive like this.

That doesn't work for me, I try that and it works until i remove the jumpdrive. Then if i put it in a different computer it doesn't direct the shortcuts to the right drive. It keeps directing them to the C drive. I wish i could get this to work, maybe someone can come up with a way to make this portable that works for all, I know it is possible, that is how all other portable apps work.

Thanks,

Josh
