Volume buttons stopped working

I just installed the latest release of FlyaKiteOSX on my Dell Inspiron E1505.

On the front of the laptop's base (by the keys), there are media buttons (play, stop, vol up, vol down, etc). While play and stop still work, the volume up/down/mute buttons have stopped working.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

I believe that there are settings for non-standard keyboard buttons in TweakUI.
